*LOVED* the movie! Just saw it Friday night!
I'm not a mother, but my sister and her husband became parents almost one year ago. Baby has changed all of our lives. Namely, she has prepared my fiancé for what is to come (a long time down the road) and she's softening his heart bit by bit. We can't wait to be parents (again, a long time down the road).

How has my life NOT changed is a better question. Not as much sleep, my first wrinkles, realizing I have no idea what I'm doing :) Ahh...but I love her to pieces!

I thought I knew love when I married my best friend, but once our baby came into the picture, I experienced a whole new kind of love! My son has made my life a whole lot more fun and lovey-dovey for sure! :)

I can't really put into word how my life changed and continues to change. When the kids are here I can't wait for time alone, but when they are gone I can't wait for them to get back!

Life is nothing like it used to be before baby. One example of a change is now it takes me a lot longer just to get out of a car now! Stroller to get out or shopping carts to load up.. I don't just pop out and walk into a store anymore.. :)

my life changed alot when my son was born--you don't realize how much time it takes just to go to the store and forget about quiet time--that's a thing of the past. :)

So this is my first time trying this, I just found out about this website. I haven't gotten to see the movie yet, though it's on the list for girls' night next week. I also don't have any babies. Well, I have my fur-babies (3 puppies) if that counts. They're just like babies in that I've lost sleep, half my dinners to the sneeky little buggers, had to clean up lots of messes, and ruined more clothing and shoes than I'd care to think about. But what is that old saying, something about you'll know you're ready for kids when.......Well, so far the plants and puppies are all healthy and thriving!

Oh how your life changes! We lived overseas but flew home (USA)for the birth of both kids. Travelling with a newborn poses a host of interesting events and then the jet lag and lack of sleep are overwhelming at times. Just trying to get the Passport & Visa photos taken with their eyes open! was a challenge. Could write a book! But what memories!!

LOL, I think the question should be "what did not change?". From the changing body to really, the miraculous birth and after of course, the aftermath - everything changed for us. Your view on life - your perspective and priorities really change. It's as if you're connected with this other being for the rest of your life and you share the joy, happiness, sorrows, and pain (the first time our baby got a boo-boo - gosh that broke my heart). From the endless diaper changes, to being "on call" to breast feed or pump milk in places you never imagined, to the sleepless nights that would put "Sleepless in Seattle" to shame, to the constant spying (growing a third eye) to make sure baby does not put something he shouldn't into his mouth are just very few minor changes that were made in our life. For my husband, his biggest change was probably being demoted from #1 to Mr. #2 after the birth of our child. My baby is the sunshine of my life and the apple of my eye. :)

Thank you, Lea Ann.
