Win a Save-A-Lot $50 Grocery Gift Card!

Last week I went to a Save-A-Lot grocery store opening in Grand Prairie. I've been before to a Save-A-Lot Grand Opening (Last time I went with Spiderman and Chef Tim Love. Yes, really. See that on video here.) This time, Spiderman was not available, as he was in PreK learning the letter of the day. I did however get to hang out with Rachel from Quirky Momma and her troop of tiny people.

I was pretty impressed with the Save-A-Lot store that I visited. It was bigger than my Jefferson Avenue store! The produce looked awesome, as did the meat. Did you know that they sell bananas for .33¢ a pound every day? Just ridiculously low prices compared to other stores that I've shopped. Save-A-Lot's philosophy is really to help families eat food that's better for them, by offering it at lower prices. They even have a diabetic food section, and their own better-for-you line of food. Did you know that they name their store brands after long-time employees too? Wow. I want to be immortalized on a can of peaches. Or maybe Cheese Puffs.

Save-A-Lot also has store brand printable coupons you can print for yourself here, and their coupon policy does state that they accept manufacturer's coupons as well. I've used them there, no problem. You can also join their Smart Shopper Club here and get a $5 off $25 coupon to use!
They are my go-to store for getting quick and healthy items to put in kid's (and daddy's) lunches. For less. Juice boxes, granola bars, gummies. Fruit, yogurt, raisins. We sampled all these, along with biscuits, tacos, quesadillas, juice, cinammon rolls and more. All Save-A-Lot store branded items. All comparable in taste to their name-brand competitors, but 40% less.

Win it:
I've got a $50 Save-A-Lot Gift Card to giveaway to one of my lucky readers! Wow, that will really go a long way there. Just leave your name and email in a comment below to have a chance to win! Tell me what grocery item YOU'd like to be immortalized on if you were a long-time Save-A-Lot employee.

I'll leave this giveaway open until Friday October 8th at which time I'll randomly choose a winner. Please leave your email address in the comment so I can contact you if you win!

I just moved near a Save-a-lot store and am excited to start shopping there! I would want to be immortalized on a jar of salsa. I could live off of chips and salsa easily!

Thanks!

It'd have to be a can of coffee. I could drink it 24/7 and everyone I know, knows I'm a heavy coffee drinker.

I would like my name on their butter. The taste reminds me of the butter at my grandmothers house years ago and makes all my foods taste wonderful! It's the only butter I buy!

Thanks!

Mine would be a jar of nuts, 'cause I'm just nutty about Save-a-Lot. They closed the one by me and opened an ALDI store - it's okay, but I miss my S-A-L. I go to the one by Fair Park or in Greenville, TX.
