One of the things I like to do with cranberry juice during the holiday season is to make a holiday "tea" (which actually doesn't have any tea in it). My mother used to make this for her ladies PEO parties where they busted out the good china and had finger sandwiches. This recipe probably has some roots in a 1950s cookbook somewhere, but I'm sure my mother was the one who whittled it down to 2 ingredients. Just like I would.
Cinnamon Cranberry Tea
1 bottle of Langers Cranberry Juice
1 bag of Cinnamon Red Hots
Pour the cranberry juice and the red hots into a saucepan and heat over medium until the red hots dissolve. Stir occasionally to make sure they aren't sticking on the bottom. Once it cools, pour it back in to the Cranberry Juice bottle and save it in your fridge. When ready to drink, mix it one-to-one with hot water and it makes a nice party "tea".
