How to get free or cheap gas at Shell Stations.

Pumping gas is not so painful with a discount.
And a husband to do it for you.

Now in DFW! Join the Fuel Rewards Network at Shell and get gas discounts.
This summer Shell Stations launched a new money-saving tool for customers all over the United States: The Fuel Rewards Network. This network is set up to bring down the per-gallon price at the pump for you, using your everyday purchases at stores, both on- and off-line.

How does it work?
It's free to join. I did it on-line, and got my FRN Card within a week. Watch this YouTube video, and it explains the whole process very clearly.

Just pick up a Fuel Rewards Network Card at a participating Shell station, or request one on-line here. Then activate it online at Soon I hear, they'll have Fuel Rewards Network iPhone and Android Apps too. I don't know if y'all noticed or not, but Safeway (and all it's affiliate stores) stopped their Fuel Rewards program as of August 1st. So I was VERY interested to hear about this Shell one. Especially since there are so many more ways to lower my gas costs.

Your new favorite gas station.

You can earn rewards shopping on-line at stores (like Sears, Macy's, Best Buy), shopping at participating grocery stores (like Jewel Osco, Winn-Dixie, and  Bi-Lo), and even dining at participating restaurants (like Macaroni Grill). Find all of those that are near you here.

Then, once you've earned rewards (which are stackable by the way) you use them to get discounts per gallon when you fill up at participating Shell stations. Find one near you here.
