Since we're having a New Year's Revolution and all around here, let's start 2014 with a breakfast revolution. You hear that Luka? Tuesday you're going back to school, and we're gonna get things off to a great start. Oh, there will be Froot Loops, mister, but there will also be feats of strength, and mind boggling. Are you ready?
The art of a great start.
Getting kids off to school with a great start (i.e. please have on matching socks, a clean shirt, your homework, and please eat something for breakfast) is almost more than I can handle some days. But, then, some days, all that runs smoothly, and I get a chance to throw in a little something extra like this free puzzle printable. It's part of this month's Tips for a Great Start from Team Kellogg's.
Since I used to design kid's puzzle placemats and booklets for restaurants, I'm really loving this idea. Download this activity placemat and print it out for your kids here: Team Kellogg's Tip 29 Placemat Printable. On those days when things run smoothly at your house, they can do Team Kellogg's puzzles while they eat their breakfast.
It's a great way to wake up your brain, Luka.
Um, did I not just say "clean shirt"?
And yes jelly packets totally count as a side dish.
Every situation can be a learning opportunity, remember? Whether its the back seat of your car, a trip to the store, or just breakfast, there's always time to learn something new.
I'll be sharing a new tip like this one every week this month, courtesy of Team Kellogg's, who is sponsoring my blog for the month of January to help get my family and yours off to a great start in the new year. I'm so excited to be a part of the team and try to make a difference in the morning!
We all know that Luka's just in it for the Froot Loops.
