Spring Trend: Pink-on-Pink
Recently I went to Macy's Spring Fashion Show, hosted by Courtney Kerr. Courtney presented all the spring fashion trends, one of which really caught my eye: Pink-on-Pink. Heck, even the runway was pink at this fashion show.
I'm already quite pinked what with my pink computer, pink camouflage iPhone cover, pink winter coat, pink Christmas tree and numerous pink accessories, so I was really into this trend.
Since I rarely wear dresses, I built a pink-on-pink outfit to show you another way to wear this trend that is not in dress form. Of course I started with these crazy awesome pink tennis shoes. If you can't see the outfit collage in your email click here to come see what I'm talking about.
Hack this Trend:
Each item in this pink-on-pink outfit is reasonably priced, and can be purchased on-line at some of your favorite retailers. Here's how it breaks down:
David & Young Tonal Colored Scarf from Shopko $17.99
Women's 3/4 Sleeve Starfish Terry V-Neck Tunic in Bright Coral Pink Heather from Lands' End $34.99
VIGOSS Skinny Jagger Jeans in Pale Pink from 6pm $24.99
Betsey Johnson Gold Boost 2 Bracelet Set in Pink from 6pm $29.99
Women's Cali Pink Athletic Shoes from Sears $24.99
I'll be sharing more spring trends this week, and more ways to hack these trends with reasonably-priced purchases. Let me know if there's another fashion trend you'd like researched and hacked. Leave your suggestions here in the comments.
